We drew up our programme in a way which presents an exciting encounter between the classical music of our greatest Hungarian composers such as, Erkel, Kodály and Dohnányi and the more modern music of Rózsa. Miklós Rózsa is a three-time Oscar-winning American composer of Hungarian descent. Known for his nearly one hundred soundtracks the composer remained committed to classical music right to the end.

  • Admission to the concerts requires sitting ticket(s) (max. 2 tickets/person), which can be requested free of charge at www.jegymester.hu or in person in the ticket office of Kodály Centre. The seating arrangement is open; seats are not pre-assigned. The sitting tickets for the outdoor venue are also valid for the backup venue of the event in the case of rain, Kodály Centre. We would like to kindly remind you that seat selection is on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Please, be informed that due to the cumbersome relocation of the symphony orchestra, in the event of poor afternoon weather (rain/wind/low temperatures), both concerts will be held at an alternative indoors venue, Kodály Centre. We kindly ask you to check out the website  www.pfz.hu before you leave for the concert to make sure where it will be held.

  • Please note that in accordance with the legal provisions, the audience number is limited.
