Let’s Play Music Together!
We are inviting applications by PTE students and lecturers who, although might not be professional musicians, can confidently play a particular acoustic musical instrument. The selected applicants will have the opportunity to perform with the musicians of the Pannon Philharmonic Orchestra at a Classical Chill Out concert taking place on 1 April 2020. We welcome everyone, students and lecturers alike, who would be interested in playing music together!
AUDITION FOR AMATEUR MUSICIANS
The Pannon Philharmonic Orchestra is holding auditions for students or lecturers of the University of Pécs who can confidently play any of the instruments required in the musical pieces listed below.
Application Deadline: 23 February 2020
Audition Date: 2 March 2020, 2.30 pm
How to apply: Send your application to pte@pfz.hu indicating the instrument you play.
Musical pieces to be performed at the concert and which the candidates are expected to play at the audition:
Ludwig van Beethoven: Egmont Overture
Ludwig van Beethoven: Symphony No. 7 — 2nd Movement
Ludwig van Beethoven: Symphony No. 8 — 2nd Movement
To apply it is sufficient to perform in only one of the listed musical pieces.
