1MoreChance! – I
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: Concerto for Flute, Harp and Orchestra
So that music lovers in need of help can attend our concerts held in the Kodály Centre at times and in arrangements most suitable for them, the Pannon Philharmonic Orchestra will continue its highly acclaimed 1 More Chance! Series also in the 2025/2026 ALL-IN Season, which will present a choice of symphonic works from the evening concerts. In this series, people with disabilities or social needs (within an institutional framework) can attend the dress rehearsals of our concerts free of charge. Only groups from institutions can attend these events, as the hall's capacity allows. Should you be a member of an advocacy organisation, please, turn to the chairman of your organisation for more information.
Members of The Hungarian Federation of the Blind and Partially Sighted and wheelchair-bound music lovers can also attend our evening concerts free of charge at the seats reserved especially for them.
Passion, beauty, desires and emotions await the audience of the first concert of the Kodály Series of the Pannon Philharmonic.
Also, the new season will continue with Gergely Kesselyák's "beautiful 20th century" series. Originally, Shostakovich's Festive Overture was written for the celebrations of 7 November. Still, it pays tribute to the rich universe of Russian Romanticism rather than to the Socialist Revolution, so the music survived the age of 7 November festivities. In Mozart's concerto, the pick of solo instruments is ethereal, and when we learn that it was composed in Paris for a father and his daughter, we can suspect that it's unique.
