Musica Aurea Mixed Choir - Ipolyság,Slovakia

The Musica Aurea Mixed Choir was founded in 1997 in Ipolyság, Slovakia. For its members, choral music is not only a source of inspiration, but also a means of fulfilling their cultural and national identity. The choir is supported by the City of Ipolyság and the Ipolyság branch of Csemadok, a nationwide Slovakian Hungarian cultural association.

The choir's repertoire includes well-known and beloved works of sacred and secular choral literature, ranging from Gregorian chant to contemporary and popular music. The Musica Aurea Mixed Choir is a regular participant in cultural and church events in Ipolyság and the surrounding area. Important events organized by the choir include the traditional Advent concert and the international Pentecost choir festival, but its program called Szentiváni Kóruséj - vándorló koncert (Szentiván Choir Night - traveling concert), which takes place at non-traditional concert venues, is also very popular with the public. Thanks to its choir friendships, it often performs as a guest in Hungarian-populated settlements in Slovakia and Hungary, and has also visited Transylvania.

Béla Bartók Male Choir - Hungary

Liszt-Award-winning choral director and music professor

The festive anniversary concert of the choir, which celebrated its jubilee year in 2020, will take place in February 2022 due to the pandemic.

The jubilee concert of the double Olympic gold-winning choir will feature the most popular repertoire pieces of the past decades, which will evoke the euphoric atmosphere of the European Convivial Winesong Festivals. Also, Sándor Balatoni's Carmina Vinorum will premiere at the event.

Padrag Miner’s Male Choir – Hungary

The choir was founded in 1973 by seven enthusiastic singers. Led by their first choirmaster, János Magyar, a pharmacist, and with the support of György Lémon, director of the House of Culture, they had already prepared for their first qualification in 1975 with twenty members. The ensemble's current repertoire is very broad, ranging from Gregorian chant to contemporary choral compositions. As a result, they have been invited to perform on many occasions, from church occasions to secular events, charity concerts and festivals. The men's choir's most recent qualification - Festival Choir - was in 2022, when they won two Golds at the Mária Radio Choir Competition and the Gold Category Winner at the Kodály Zoltán VIII Hungarian Choir Competition, and they also took part in the Grand Prix competition. In April this year, they competed at the 19th Budapest International Choir Competition and Festival, where they returned home as category winners.
