We can be certain that Zsolt Hamar's creativity will make us fly on the wings of our imagination under a starry sky, dreaming freely at the final concert of the series while listening to our heart!

We can hear nature-related music also this evening. Kodály wrote his piece Summer Evening for his graduation concert, and Impressionism's influence left a powerful trace in it. Rautavaara is the great Finnish composer of the 20th century. His Concerto for Birds and Orchestra presents to us the birds of the cold north in three movements: The bog, Melancholy and Swans migrating. The orchestra fades at the end of each movement as if it was disappearing in the distance and the vision was coming to an end. The second part of the concert features Mendelssohn’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, which brings Shakespeare's eponymous comedy onto the stage of music. As soon as we hear the first bar, we can see the starry summer sky in our mind's eye. Although everyone is familiar with the Wedding March, this composition can be heard only rarely in its entirety. This night, the audience of the Pannon Philharmonic can relish the piece from beginning to end, together with the spoken text.
