In the first part of the afternoon gala concert at the 3rd Accordion Festival of Pécs, the audience will have the opportunity to enjoy the performances of the Accordion Orchestra of Dunaújváros and the Alte Kameraden Blaskapelle. Following the intermission, the Pannon Philharmonic will take to the stage. This rich concert programme gives a taste of the versatile musical styles of the accordion, ranging from the compositions of the king of tango, Astor Piazzolla to Antonio Vivaldi’s well-known melodies arranged for the accordion and to the works of several other composers. The host of the event is the musicologist Ádám Bősze, who is famous not only for his wide-ranging and captivating knowledge of music history but also for his subtle sense of humour.
