The Pannon Philharmonic Orchestra’s gala concert is in honour of the city and the University of Pécs. It will be held on the City’s Day, which coincides with the anniversary of the University’s establishment. The Gala’s program is an homage to the recently beatified martyr Bishop János Brenner, who lived with his family in Pécs between 1941 and 1946.
