Every minute is worth gold
The Pannonicum series provides weekday busy bees with gold standard, quality entertainment over the weekend. The 18:00 start allows enough time to head out of the region, and spend a few musical Saturday nights in Pécs. After the euphoria of the virtuosic opening concert, made unforgettable by the world-renowned violinist Mayu Kishima, we can admire Hungarian contemporary music with the help of the Amadinda Percussion Group. The Swedish composer Chrisitan LIndberg’s artistic quality and instrumental playing will be a real treat to listen to, but we can also lose ourselves in Beethoven’s well-known Eroica symphony, the Viennese classics and Emőke Baráth’s beautiful voice as well. During the closing concert of this season pass, we can listen to Tchaikovsky’s evergreen melodies conducted by audience favorite Kobayashi Kenichiro. During the series, all three of the Pannon Philharmonic’s conductors, Gilbert Varga and Tibor Bogányi principal conductors, and András Vass resident conductor will conduct.
