This concert will feature two extensive fairy tales with the orchestra. Dvořák’s story tells us about magic with a tragic outcome, the death of a child. Rimsky-Korsakov’s music proclaims the power and reconciling force lying in music and fables, as a wife condemned to death softens his husband's, the sovereign's, heart. Between the two, we can relish a deservedly popular and loveable Mediterranean concerto with a Mediterranean instrument. We warmly recommend this concert to all who enjoy immersing in the world of emotions, imagination, beautiful melodies and instrumental solos.
