Exceptional acoustics of Kodály Centre

Pannon Philharmonic is the resident orchestra of 1000 Kodály Centre characterized with exceptional features and perfect acoustics. Besides being a stunning concert hall, the world-class venue boasts state of the art studios and professional technical background whereby a number of recordings have been made here with renowned soloists in recent years.

They include the album Tchaikovsky: Variations on a Rococo Theme performed by one of the most famous cello artists of the world, István Várdai. Marcello Giordani, renowned Italian also recorded his album titled Ti voglio tanto bene - Italian and  Nepolitan love songs at the Kodály Centre, also with the collaboration of Pannon Philharmonic. In 2018, the orchestra made a compilation record of the  concerts of Pannon Philharmonic titled Water, which was released on the occasion of the World Water Day of March 22nd. Also, two records are going to be released this year: Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto and Bartók Violin Concertos Nos1 and 2 performed by Pannon Philharmonic featuring the Austrian violinist, Benjamin Schmid.
